Goals turn KPI definitions into targets. Use them to define what success looks like for a period and who is responsible for achieving it.
Before creating goals
Section titled “Before creating goals”Create the related KPI Definition first. A goal needs a metric before it can calculate progress.
Creating a goal
Section titled “Creating a goal”- Open Goals from the Performance section.
- Choose a KPI definition.
- Select the owner, user, team, or scope.
- Set the target value.
- Choose the period.
- Save the goal.
Good goals are specific enough to measure and limited enough that owners can act on them.
