Price Offers
Price Offers are formal proposals sent to Contacts before conversion. They document the products, services, and pricing you’re proposing.
Overview
Section titled “Overview”A price offer is a detailed quotation with line items, discounts, and tax calculations. At least one price offer is required before a contact can become a deal opportunity to a Deal. Price offers support multi-currency, approval workflows, and PDF generation with customizable templates.

Price Offer Fields

Financial Details

Calculated Totals

Approval Workflow
Section titled “Approval Workflow”Price offers can go through an approval process:
- Draft - Initial creation
- Pending - Submitted for approval
- Processing - In the approval workflow
- Approved / Rejected - Outcome of approval
- Sent - Delivered to the contact
- Accepted - Contact accepted
Line Items
Section titled “Line Items”Each offer contains line items:

Line items also support base currency amounts for multi-currency reporting.
Discounts
Section titled “Discounts”Two levels of discounts:
- Line-level - Percentage discount on individual items
- Cart-level - Overall discount (percent or fixed amount) applied to the subtotal
Working with Price Offers
Section titled “Working with Price Offers”Creating an Offer
Section titled “Creating an Offer”- Open a Contact detail page
- Click Create Price Offer
- Add a title for the offer
- Set currency and valid until date
- Add line items (products/services)
- Apply discounts and tax rates
- Review totals and save
Adding Line Items
Section titled “Adding Line Items”For each item in your offer:
- Click Add Item
- Select from product catalog or enter custom item
- Set quantity and unit price
- Apply discount if needed
- Set tax rate if applicable
- Line total calculates automatically
Generating PDF
Section titled “Generating PDF”Create professional PDF proposals:
- Open the price offer
- Click Generate PDF or Preview
- Review the formatted document using your organization’s template
- Download or email to the contact
PDF Templates
Section titled “PDF Templates”Customize your offer appearance in Settings > Print Templates:
- Company logo and branding
- Header and footer content
- Table layout and columns
- Terms and conditions section
- Payment instructions
- Custom styling and colors
Sending Offers
Section titled “Sending Offers”Send offers directly to contacts via email:
- Open the price offer
- Click Send Email
- Compose the email with the offer attached
- The offer status updates to “Sent”
Multi-Currency Support
Section titled “Multi-Currency Support”Price offers support multi-currency:
- Select any currency when creating the offer
- Exchange rate converts to your organization’s base currency
- All totals calculated in both offer currency and base currency
- Base currency amounts used for unified reporting
Price List Integration
Section titled “Price List Integration”Link offers to price lists for consistent pricing:
- Select a price list when creating the offer
- Product prices auto-populate from the price list
- Supports different pricing for customer segments
Deal Creation
Section titled “Deal Creation”Price offers are required for deal creation:
- Create at least one price offer for the contact
- When ready, create or open the related deal
- The offer amount informs the deal value
- Multiple offers can exist for one contact
Data Visibility
Section titled “Data Visibility”Price offer visibility is based on the related contact’s owner, with exceptions for the creator and pending approvers.
Table Views
Section titled “Table Views”Save custom table configurations. See Table Views.
Notification Events
Section titled “Notification Events”| Event | Description |

Expiration alerts are checked automatically every hour.
Best Practices

- Set expiration - Create urgency with valid until dates
- Use price lists - Ensure consistent pricing
- Review before sending - Check all amounts and items
- Use templates - Consistent professional PDF appearance
- Track status - Update when sent or responded to
- Apply appropriate discounts - Use line-level and cart-level discounts strategically
