More buyers now ask an AI assistant instead of a search engine: “What’s the best CRM for a small clinic in Riyadh?” AI Visibility asks those same questions for you every day and shows whether the answers mention your brand, which competitors they recommend instead, and which websites the assistants rely on. Then it suggests what to publish or fix to show up more often.

Open it from Marketing → AI Visibility.

You give AI Visibility a list of prompts: the questions your buyers type into AI assistants. Once a day, each active prompt is asked of every AI assistant you turned on. For each answer, Workstation records:

  • whether your brand is mentioned, and in what position among the brands named;
  • which competitors are mentioned;
  • how positively the answer describes you (sentiment);
  • which sources (websites and pages) the answer cites.

Brand and competitor mentions are matched against the names and Other names you enter, so add the spellings people actually use, including your Arabic name.

The supported AI assistants are ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI Mode. An assistant marked Not available yet isn’t connected on this workspace and can’t be turned on.

The first time you open AI Visibility, a three-step setup appears.

  1. Your brand: enter your Brand name, Other names, Website, and any Other domains you own (country sites, a blog, or docs on another domain). Add a short What you do, choose Who you sell to and your Main market, then pick the Languages to track and the AI assistants to ask.
  2. Competitors: add the brands you want to compare against, with their website and other names.
  3. Prompts: add the questions to track (see Add prompts).

Select Start tracking. The first results arrive within the hour.

You can change all of this later from Settings on the AI Visibility page, including pausing Daily tracking. Pausing stops new checks but keeps your history.

Select Add prompts on the Prompts tab. There are two ways to add them:

  • Write your own: type prompts one per line, or upload a CSV or text file. A CSV needs a prompt column.
  • Suggest with AI: Workstation proposes realistic questions based on your products, buyers, competitors, and, if you turn on Use real questions from your inbox, the questions customers actually asked in Inbox. Customer messages are read without names, emails, or phone numbers. Tick the suggestions you want and add them.

Good prompts sound like a buyer, not like you. Most should not name your brand. “Best accounting software for restaurants in Saudi Arabia” tells you more than “Is Acme good?”

Each prompt has:

  • Language: a prompt is tracked in one language. To compare English and Arabic answers, select prompts and choose Add Arabic version (or Add English version).
  • Group (optional): group prompts by product, service, or topic so you can filter the dashboard. Manage groups in Settings.
  • Buying stage (optional): Awareness, Consideration, Evaluation, or Decision.

A workspace can track up to 200 active prompts. From the prompts table you can Pause, Resume, move prompts to a group, delete them, or Export CSV. Deleted prompts keep their history in past reports.

Prompts are checked automatically every day. To get today’s answers sooner, for example right after adding prompts, select them and choose Check now. New answers appear within a few minutes, and the page refreshes while it waits. Manual checks are limited to 30 a day per workspace.

Use the filters at the top to narrow by date range, AI assistant, language, or group.

Metric What it means
Brand visibility The share of answers that mention you. Labeled High, Medium, or Low.
Share of voice Your mentions out of all mentions of tracked brands.
Sentiment How positively AI describes you: Positive, Neutral, or Negative.
Average position Where you appear among the brands an answer names. 1 means you were named first.

Below the metrics you’ll find visibility over time for you and your top competitors, a Competitor ranking, results By AI assistant, sentiment over time, and the Most cited sources.

Other brands AI mentions lists names that appear in answers but that you don’t track yet. Select Track to add one as a competitor.

The Overview also shows people that AI assistants sent to your website and what they became: Website visits, New contacts, Deals, and Won revenue. A visit counts when it comes from an assistant such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, or Copilot, either by referrer or by UTM source. Contacts whose UTM source is an AI assistant are counted automatically.

The Prompts tab lists each prompt with its visibility, the assistants that mention you, the top competitor, and when it was last checked. Select a prompt to see:

  • the latest answer from each assistant, with the brands it named and the sources it cited;
  • the ranking of brands for that prompt;
  • visibility over time.

The Citations tab shows which websites AI assistants rely on when they answer your prompts. Use it to find where you need to be mentioned.

  • By source groups citations into Your site, Competitor sites, Social, Forums and reviews, Reference sites, and more.
  • By content type shows whether assistants prefer top lists, comparisons, reviews, docs, and so on.
  • Top domains and Top pages list the most cited sites and pages, with how many of them mention you.
  • Your most cited pages shows which of your own pages AI picks up.
  • Social and community platforms shows where AI finds conversations about your category.

The Recommendations tab turns your tracking data into a to-do list. Recommendations are refreshed weekly, or select Refresh recommendations to update them now.

Each recommendation explains Why, which prompts it Helps with, Where to act, and an estimated visibility gain. Types include Create content, Update a page, Get mentioned elsewhere, Social and communities, and Technical fix.

For each one you can:

  • assign it to a teammate, or select Create task to add it to their Tasks;
  • select Write draft to get an AI-written first draft, then Save to Content Hub to keep it as a draft article in Content Hub. Review and edit drafts before publishing. AI drafts can contain mistakes;
  • Mark done or Dismiss it.

Two weeks after you mark a recommendation done, it shows the visibility on its prompts before and after, so you can see whether the work paid off.

The Page checks tab tells you whether a page is ready to be read and quoted by AI assistants. Enter a page address from your site or a tracked competitor’s site and select Check page.

The check looks at whether AI crawlers are allowed in robots.txt, whether the main content is readable without JavaScript, and how the page is structured: one main heading, question-style headings, lists and tables, a short answer up front, structured data such as FAQ or Organization markup, linked English and Arabic versions, and how recently it was updated. Each failed check says how to fix it.

AI Visibility is part of the Marketing add-on, but the AI usage isn’t included in the plan price. Every answer, along with suggestions, translations, recommendations, and drafts, is paid from your AI balance, using AI Chat credit first and then general credit.

What tracking costs depends on how many prompts you track and on which assistants. The setup and Settings show an estimated monthly cost for your current setup, and the Overview shows how much you’ve spent this month.

To cap spending, set a Monthly spending limit (USD) in Settings. Once AI Visibility has used that much this month, daily checks pause until next month.

Daily checks also pause when your AI balance is empty. Top up the balance and they resume on the next run. Your history is never deleted.

Role Access
Owner, Admin, Manager Set up tracking, manage prompts, competitors, and settings, run checks, and work on recommendations
User View the dashboard, prompts, citations, recommendations, and page checks

In custom roles, the permissions are AI Visibility → View and AI Visibility → Manage. See Team.

Exporting prompts also needs data export permission. Saving a draft to Content Hub needs access to Content Hub, and creating a task needs permission to create activities.

Sandboxes copy your AI Visibility setup but don’t run checks.
