Ads brings paid advertising performance into Workstation. Use it to monitor ad campaigns, inspect ad sets and ads, and compare spend against outcomes.
What Ads tracks
Section titled “What Ads tracks”The Ads module is organized around:
- campaigns
- ad sets
- individual ads
- impressions
- clicks
- spend
- contacts attributed to ads
- cost metrics
When advertising integrations are connected, Ads helps teams connect marketing spend with CRM outcomes.
Working with ads
Section titled “Working with ads”- Open Ads from the Marketing section.
- Review the summary cards for spend and engagement.
- Open a campaign to inspect its ad sets.
- Open an ad set to review individual ads.
- Use related Contacts, Campaigns, and Reports for follow-up analysis.
Interpreting metrics
Section titled “Interpreting metrics”Common metrics include:
- Impressions: how often ads were shown.
- Clicks: how often users clicked.
- CTR: clicks divided by impressions.
- CPC: spend divided by clicks.
- Cost per contact: spend divided by attributed contacts.
Use these metrics as directional signals. Attribution depends on connected tracking, forms, and CRM data quality.
