# Forms

> Build, publish, share, and automate multi-step forms.

Forms collect information through a public link or a form embedded on your website. Use them for lead capture, newsletter sign-ups, event registration, contact requests, and other repeatable intake.

## Build a form

1. Open **Marketing → Forms**.
2. Click **Create Form** and pick a template (Newsletter, Contact Us, Event Registration, Talk to an Expert, Book a Meeting) or **Start from blank**.
3. Add fields and spread them across one or more steps.
4. Set up logic, styles, and settings.
5. Preview on desktop and mobile, then click **Publish**.

Field types are single-line text, multi-line text, email, phone, URL, number, dropdown, multiple checkboxes, date, checkbox, file upload, country, section heading, and paragraph text.

## Builder panels

| Panel | Use it for |
| --- | --- |
| **Add** | Add fields and steps. |
| **Contents** | See the form's steps and fields. Click a field here or in the preview to edit its label, help text, validation, required state, width, and CRM mapping in the properties panel. |
| **Logic** | Show or hide a field when all or any conditions match. |
| **Styles** | Layout, colors, fonts, buttons, background, and progress bar. |
| **Auto** | Open [Workflows](https://workstation.repzo.com/docs/administration/workflows) that run when the form gets a new submission. |
| **Settings** | General options, submission handling, and sharing. |

Map fields to Contact, Account, or Deal properties when submissions should create or update CRM records.

## Settings

**General**

- **Auto-create contacts** makes a new contact when the email isn't known yet.
- **Pre-fill returning visitors** fills in fields for people who submitted before.
- **Contact assignment** decides who owns new contacts: leave them unassigned, assign a specific user, or use **Round-robin** across selected team members. Existing contacts keep their owner.

**Submissions**

- **Notifications** go to the form creator by default. You can also notify the contact owner, chosen teammates, or outside email addresses. Submissions flagged as spam don't send notifications.
- **Spam protection** can block chosen email domains, reject free email providers like Gmail and Yahoo, and add a hidden honeypot field to catch bots.
- **On submission**, show a thank-you message or redirect to a URL. For embedded forms, choose whether the redirect opens in the **Entire browser page** (recommended) or only inside the embedded form.

**Share** opens the share dialog with the direct link and the embed code.

## Review results

Open a form to see three tabs:

- **Performance**: submissions, conversion rate, records created, and spam blocked over the last 30 days.
- **Analyze**: submissions by source, status breakdown, and how often each field is filled in.
- **Submissions**: every response. Open one to see its answers and attribution (page URL, UTM values, Google and Facebook click IDs, and the matched campaign). Mark responses as **Processed** or **Spam**, delete them, or export the list.

When a submission's `utm_campaign` matches a [Campaign](https://workstation.repzo.com/docs/marketing/campaigns), the contact is linked to that campaign.

Forms can be duplicated, and archived when they should stop taking responses. Form statuses are Draft, Published, and Archived.
