# Context actions block

Holds small, low-emphasis actions under a message — feedback buttons and icon buttons.

## Fields

| Field | Type | Description | Required? |

| `type` | String | The type of block. For a context actions block, `type` is always `context_actions`. | Required |
| `elements` | Object[] | An array of [feedback buttons](https://workstation.repzo.com/docs/developers/block-kit/elements/feedback-buttons-element) and [icon button](https://workstation.repzo.com/docs/developers/block-kit/elements/icon-button-element) elements. Maximum of 5 elements. | Required |
| `block_id` | String | A unique identifier for the block. If not specified, one is generated. Use it to tell which block a `block_actions` payload came from. Maximum length is 255 characters. It must be unique within the message or view — a duplicate is replaced and reported as a warning. | Optional |

> **How Repzo Chat differs from Slack**
>
> - Slack shows context actions in messages only. Repzo shows them in modals and the Home tab too.
> - Any other element type is skipped and the API returns a warning.
