# Dashboard

> Track key numbers on a personal dashboard of widgets, with date ranges, comparisons, and links into Reports.

The Dashboard is a grid of widgets that show your key numbers at a glance: contacts, deals, revenue, activities, tickets, and inbox performance. Each person has their own dashboard, so you can arrange it around the work you do without changing anyone else's.

Open **Analytics → Dashboard**. New users start with a default sales layout that you can change at any time.

## Date range and comparison

The toolbar controls apply to every widget on the dashboard:

| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| **Date range** | Pick a preset (Today, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Month to date, Last quarter, and more) or a custom range. The default is the last 30 days. |
| **Comparison** | Compare against the previous period, the previous year, the previous year matched by day of week, or a custom range. Choose **No comparison** to turn it off. |
| **Currency** | Show money values in one of your organization's currencies. The choice is saved with your dashboard. |
| **Refresh data** | Reload every widget. The time of the last refresh is shown in the header. |

Your date range and comparison are remembered in this browser. Preset ranges such as "Last 30 days" always move with today's date.

Numbers follow your data visibility. If you can only see your own or your department's records, the widgets only count those records.

## Widgets

Widgets come in a few shapes:

- **Stat cards** show one number, with the change against the comparison period.
- **Charts** show trends over time or a split by stage, source, owner, or channel.
- **Breakdowns and ranked lists** show the top values for one field, such as contacts by source or activities by type.
- **Tables** rank owners or accounts, such as top owners by deal value.
- **Streaks leaderboard** ranks team members by their current daily streak.

Click a widget's header to open the same data in [Reports](https://workstation.repzo.com/docs/analytics/reports), with the dashboard's date range, comparison, and currency already applied. From there you can change the grouping, add filters, or save it as a report.

## Customize the dashboard

Click **Customize** to edit the layout. A widget library opens beside the grid:

- Add a widget by clicking it in the library or dragging it onto the grid. Search for a widget or browse by category: Overview, Sales, Contacts, Customers, Activities, Support, and Team.
- Drag a widget by its handle to move it, and drag its edge to resize it.
- Click a widget's title to rename it.
- Remove a widget with its close button.

Click **Done** when you are finished. Changes save as you make them.

**Reset to default** (shown while customizing) removes your changes and restores the default layout.

### Default widgets

A new dashboard includes:

| Widget | Shows |
|---|---|
| Contacts | Total contacts |
| Active deals | Open deals in your pipelines |
| Revenue won | Revenue from won deals |
| Contacts in lifecycle | Contacts assigned to a lifecycle stage |
| Revenue over time | Won-deal revenue trend |
| Deals breakdown | Key deal metrics at a glance |
| Contacts over time | New contacts over time |
| Deals by stage | Deals in each pipeline stage |
| Contacts by source | Where contacts come from |
| Top owners by deal value | Sales reps ranked by deal value |
| Activities by type | Activity volume per type |

The library also has widgets for pipeline value, weighted pipeline, average deal size, deals won, new accounts, top accounts, deals by owner, contacts by rating, tickets by priority, and inbox performance (open conversations, first response time, conversations by channel, replies over time, and assignee performance).

### Sales template

Choose **Start from a template → Sales** for a sales manager's view. Deal amounts are monthly recurring revenue (MRR), so ARR is MRR × 12.

- **Twelve cards in three rows:**
  - revenue: New MRR, New ARR, won deals, average deal size
  - pipeline: pipeline value, weighted pipeline, win rate, average sales cycle
  - contacts: new contacts, qualified contacts, contact → customer, overdue follow-ups
- **Revenue trend:** New MRR by month as bars and won deals as a line over the last 12 months, against the year before.
- **Win rate by month**, the **sales funnel**, and **goal vs target** for a KPI goal you choose.
- **Top salespeople:** the five with the most New MRR, and everyone else as Other.
- **Revenue by lead source:** a treemap by the lead source of each deal's contact.
- **Salesperson performance** and **contacts requiring attention**.
- **Pipeline by stage and owner:** a heatmap of every open deal today.
- **Repeat deals by account:** a cohort grid of accounts that came back with another deal.

The template adds these only when your workspace has the records for them:

- **Live subscription MRR** and **ended subscriptions**, if you have subscriptions
- **Customer health (RFM)**, if you have invoices or orders (see [RFM grid](https://workstation.repzo.com/docs/analytics/repzoql/visualize#rfm-grid))

Most widgets follow the dashboard's date range. The 12-month trends, the cohort grid, the pipeline heatmap, live MRR, and RFM use their own period, which is part of their [query](https://workstation.repzo.com/docs/analytics/report-queries). Clicking one of these opens its query in Reports.

Picking a template replaces the widgets on that dashboard. Dashboards built from an earlier version of the template don't change.

### Add a report to the dashboard

Any report can become a widget. In [Reports](https://workstation.repzo.com/docs/analytics/reports), open or build a report and click **Add to dashboard**. Choose whether to add it as a **Chart**, a **Table**, or **Chart + Table**.

## Permissions

The Dashboard needs `dashboard.view`, which every role has. Workspaces that include [Pulse](https://workstation.repzo.com/docs/analytics/pulse) open on Pulse after sign-in; others open on the Dashboard.
